Parkville Pumpkin Patch

"Parkville pumpkins" created by local artist Bob Pettes, inspired me to plant the first pumpkin patch in Parkville in many years.

Every weekend in October residents of the community took part of wagon rides and picked their favorite pumpkins from the fields. Rides preceeded along a nature trail full of wildlife and beautiful scenary.

Wagon rides along Rush Creek allowed pumpkin pickers to see abundant wildlife such as beaver, deer, and birds.
